The Solid Rock Stable

Yesterday, June 30th, we had a new baby girl, Hope Elizabeth Wilson!  Shelli set a new personal record for the longest amount of time between checking in to the hospital and finally delivering the baby - nearly 25 hours!  Even being 2 weeks early, Hope weighs in as our largest baby so far: 8lbs 11.2 oz, and 21.5 inches long.

 

Remington and Chastity got to meet their new baby sister after lunch yesteday, and they are very excited.  Our family was amazingly blessed with a large crew of dear friends who helped with the older kids during labor.  Scott Cheney, and Timothy Robinson were amongst the group that helped out well beyond what we estimated was only going to be a 8 hours or less labor (Chastity was under 2.5 hours from check-in time to delivery)

 

Additionally, we also had two college girls at the birth with us, Bethany Mathes and Benita Patterson.  They were amazingly helpful during the extended labor, and both came away amazed.
